Over the years we have noticed that customers often book a Landscape workshop and then go on to book a mixture of our wildlife specials, the same year.

So, we thought we would offer this special package.

All we ask is that you book all three of the options you choose within a 12-month period from the date of purchase (depending on options chosen). They do not have to be booked all at the same time (some are month specific such as the Red deer rut for example).

Depending on the three-option chosen the total saving can be up to £103.40. This includes our new price reductions on almost all the workshops we are running in 2024.

    • Settings Guide: Jack will also prepare additional settings guide specific to your camera model and relevant to the course type booked (if requested).
    • Adobe Lightroom CC: As with any of our bespoke 1:1 all day courses Jack will also complete a short session at the end of the Landscape Course covering basic editing 'entry level' using the Adobe software if requested. There will be an 18-page guide to accompany this session that is yours to keep.

Exmoor Photography Three Course Special:

Do you sometimes get frustrated that the images you take doesn’t always do justice to what you are looking at? 

Would you like to get you your camera off auto and start to use and understand the other shooting modes?  

Perhaps you are planning a once in a lifetime trip abroad like a Safari or a family holiday and want to capture those precious memories feeling more confident with your camera.

This three-course special offer is aimed at complete beginners to intermediate level photographers.

Professional photographer Rupert ‘Jack’ Clegg and Alison are all about customer service, customer comfort and a relaxed learning environment at your own pace.

During the three courses we will show how to correctly set your camera for multiple styles of photography, including landscapes, birds in flight, wildlife, macro, flash photography and using filters to name just a few. We completely understand that using unfamiliar settings on your camera can seem very daunting. The tuition and guidance we provide will give you the confidence and knowledge in a friendly relaxed environment at your own pace. We will never make you feel awkward or embarrassed if you don’t understand something straight away and guarantee you will finish each day knowing more than you did when you started and will take you to a new level of understanding photography.

The unique experience Jack provides insures that during these bespoke courses, he will give you as much time as you need before you move onto the next subject.

Additional Info Three Course Special:

As with all the workshops and courses this course is completely field based, we will visit several picturesque locations, teaching you different photographic techniques while capturing the stunning variety of landscapes that Exmoor National Park and the Somerset levels has to offer. 

Jack is also very knowledgeable with most makes and models of modern digital cameras. We recommend either a mirrorless system camera or D-SLR for these courses and although the digital cameras available now can achieve good results on fully automatic settings. We will get you off ‘automatic’ mode if you’re not already and help you to use and understand your camera to its full potential. Yes, modern technology helps but it is still the knowledge of the person stood behind camera that really matters.

Our goal is by the completion of the three courses you should be well on the way with your photographic journey and enjoyable hobby as a capable and confident photographer in multiple genres of photography. We will take your photography to the next level and beyond.

We do not take other professional photographers on any of our courses.

Important Notice:

A ‘kit’ landscape lens for the landscape special is all you need.

You can hire cameras and lenses from us if required.

We will supply filters and tripods for your use FOC.

You will also need to have/hire a lens with a maximum focal length of 400 – 600 mm for the wildlife specials.

Please note: all three of these specials are month(s) specific and our normal T&C’s apply.

They can only be used by the named participant when purchased.

Our Vehicle:

Jack was trained to a very high ‘advanced’ standard to drive while in the service.

We use a new Ford Kuga Hybrid that will comfortably seat 3 guests and their equipment, the vehicle is maintained to a very high standard, it has dual zone air conditioning for your comfort and heated seats! The vehicle is fitted with a ‘cold climate pack’ heated windscreen etc.  Although we do not intend to go ‘off road’ and ‘bounce’ you and your camera equipment about while on the course, the vehicle is fitted with ‘all weather’ tyres that give enhanced traction. We carry a BSI compliant (BS-8599-1) first aid kit on board & a fire extinguisher.
